About grep89

Our Story

grep89 was born from a simple observation: Indonesian online betting enthusiasts deserved better. In 2019, when we first launched, the Indonesian market was saturated with platforms that failed to understand local player needs. International sites offered no support for Indonesian banking methods like BCA, BRI, BNI, and Mandiri. Withdrawal times stretched into days, not hours. Customer support agents spoke broken English or no Indonesian at all. And most critically, there was a trust deficit—players never knew if their winnings would actually reach their bank accounts.

We set out to build something different. Our founding team, composed of gaming industry veterans and Indonesian fintech specialists, spent eighteen months developing grep89 from the ground up. We established partnerships with every major Indonesian bank and e-wallet provider. We built a proprietary payment processing system capable of handling withdrawals in under five minutes. We hired native Indonesian speakers for our 24/7 support team. And we obtained international gaming licenses to operate with full transparency and accountability.

When grep89 officially launched in late 2019, we started with a modest offering: sports betting on major football leagues (EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Champions League) and a curated selection of slots from top providers. Our focus was narrow but our execution was flawless. Word spread quickly across Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan. Players who had been burned by other platforms discovered that grep89 actually delivered on its promises. Deposits appeared instantly. Withdrawals processed in minutes, not days. Odds were competitive. Support was responsive and helpful.

By 2021, grep89 had grown to serve over 1,000 active players. We expanded our offerings to include live dealer casino games from Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play, introducing Indonesian players to the thrill of real-time Baccarat, Roulette, and Blackjack with professional dealers. We added togel (Indonesia's traditional lottery game) markets, recognizing that many of our players grew up with this culturally significant game. We introduced Teen Patti and Andar Bahar for players who preferred South Asian card games. And we built out our slots library to over 12,000 titles, covering everything from classic 3-reel games to modern Megaways and cluster pays mechanics.

Today, in 2026, grep89 has matured into one of Indonesia's leading online betting platforms. We serve over 2,500 daily active players across Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Bali, Semarang, Palembang, and Makassar. We process more than Rp 50 million in payouts every single day. Our VIP program rewards loyal players with cashback rates up to 1.5%, personal account managers, and exclusive event invitations. Our mobile-optimized platform delivers seamless gameplay on any Android or iOS device without requiring app downloads. And our commitment to responsible gaming—including deposit limits, session timers, self-exclusion tools, and strict 21+ age verification—has earned us recognition as a platform that prioritizes player welfare alongside entertainment.
